Sinobot X1
Neurosurgical Robot
Emerging with a Bang, Feeling the Future

The innovative technology of Sinovation Medical originates from Tsinghua University. It has dedicated over two decades to continuous research and production of high-end neurosurgical medical devices. The birth of the Sinobot X1 has once again elevated the definition of neurosurgical robots to new heights. The integration of Holoshot® 3D structured light registration technology with fully automated robotic arms brings neurosurgeons an experience of utmost precision, convenience, and efficiency in surgical assistance. This advancement enables clinical procedures to constantly surpass and break through boundaries, turning them into reality.

The Sinobot X1 (aka SR1-3D) has obtained both the NMPA approval through the Special Channel for Innovative Medical Devices in China, and the US FDA approval.

Holoshot®3DStructured Light Registration Technology

In neurosurgical robot-assisted surgeries, patient registration is a crucial step throughout the entire surgical process. Its main purpose is to map the surgical path planned by the surgeon in the imaging space to the real-world space. The accuracy of patient registration directly determines the precision of the system's final navigation and localization. Additionally, the convenience of the patient registration process also directly affects the overall duration of the surgery.

Markerless Registration, Every Second Counts
With no need for preoperative marker placement or preoperative CT scans, the 3D structured light localization system performs automatic, contactless, and rapid scanning registration and accuracy verification. The registration process takes less than 2 minutes, saving valuable preoperative preparation time. This streamlined approach allows for easy handling of urgent and critical surgical procedures.
Comprehensive Head Scan, No Limits
The 3D structured light localization system can perform point cloud scanning of the patient's head in a wide range, multiple angles, and various positions, obtaining a complete 3D point cloud of the head and face. This eliminates the limitations of patient positioning for the convenient and rapid markerless point registration technique.
Localization Accuracy of 0.5mm, Ultimate Precision
The 3D structured light localization system can capture three million point clouds of the patient's head. Compared to laser registration, it achieves a 300-fold increase in the quantity of point clouds, resulting in registration and localization accuracy of less than 0.5mm. This perfectly meets all the requirements of doctors in terms of convenience, speed, and accuracy in registration.

Safe and Efficient Robotic Arm

The robotic arm is a core component of any surgical robot, and neurosurgery demands peak performance from this crucial component. As a pioneer in the medical robot industry, Sinovation always upholds strict standards regarding safety, developing products that enable safer and more accurate robotic surgeries for both doctors and patients alike.

Automatic Localization
No markers or manual assistance required. Our robotic arm achieves precise localization of the entire brain automatically, easily adapting to the needs of different surgical methods and surgical positions while eliminating light path occlusion and placement problems.
Intelligent Vision Obstacle Avoidance
Our robot automatically acquires and establishes the patient's head and surrounding environment into an obstacle model. This enables the robotic arm to autonomously calculate the optimal obstacle avoidance path for safe, precise, and efficient positioning.
Six-dimensional Force Sensor
Real time monitoring of force exerted on the robotic arm is ensured by a six-dimensional force/torque sensor. Instantaneous braking occurs if the abnormal stress exceeds 1N, with the reaction time under 30 milliseconds, effectively ensuring the intraoperative safety of doctors and patients.
Power Off Emergency Stop, Static Lock
Sinobot X1 employs a world-class lock-brake system. In emergencies or power failures, the robotic arm can lock instantaneously, stabilizing the end effector of the robotic arm like a rock--providing doctors with a greater sense of reliability.
